ReggaeTony

I’ve got a spanish friend who wanted some good hip hop mixes – Well your first port of call is to try and sift through all the Reggaeton mixes out there. Most of it…is a bit bleh to be honest as its all a bit to hardcore for my tastes! I was pretty interested when I saw a mix by Tony Touch called ‘ReggaeTony’.

He’s been around for years on the US hip hop circuit and he’s produced some good bits over the years. Anyways, this is a class mix. Its pretty raw but not TOO filthy. The track with the Beatnuts is great.

For those that don’t know, Reggaeton is a mix of hardcore US style hip-hop, danchehall and bashment. I believe it came out of Puerto Rico and pretty much 99% of the mc’ing is in spanish.
