Toponymy
Posted: August 17th, 2005 | Author: Sermad | Filed under: Random Musings | 1 Comment »I’ve always wondered how places get there names. No idea why really, apart from random curiosity. Some quick searching later and I found that Toponymy was the name given to this study.
This is seriously geeky stuff and to me totally fascinating. British toponymy is even more geeky.
